You are receiving this email message because you are registered for second session and/or full summer semester 2024-25 classes at µÛÍõ»áËù. Please check  or  to review your class schedule. If you are not attending µÛÍõ»áËù this second summer session or full summer semester and are still enrolled for classes, please contact your academic college or student services office.

The deadline dates listed later in this message are for classes that meet the standard dates for second summer session and full summer semester. However, many students (especially those enrolled in OHIO Online programs) take classes that meet during different dates from the second summer session or full summer semester dates. Therefore, it is important to check the add/drop/withdraw dates for each course you are registered to take. These dates will vary on a class-by-class basis and might be different from those listed below. 

To find specific deadline dates, such as the last day to drop or last day to withdraw, select the calendar icon in your weekly schedule in . Deadlines are 5:00 p.m. Eastern on the date indicated unless otherwise noted. However, online transactions may be processed beyond 5:00 p.m. Eastern if the system is available.

Upcoming Academic Calendar dates for second summer session (class-specific deadlines are for classes that meet 6/30/25 – 8/16/25):

Sunday, June 29, 2025, is the last day to cancel registration for second summer session (remove all courses and fees).

Monday, June 30, 2025, is the first day of classes.

Thursday, July 3, 2025:

• Last day to register for second summer session. Note: Students who are in attendance by this date but fail to complete any registration procedures must pay a $150.00 penalty for retroactive registration correction.
• Last day to add a second summer session class
• Last day to apply for or change a grading option for second summer session class (credit to audit, audit to credit, pass/fail to regular grade option, or regular grade option to pass/fail).
• Last day to receive partial fee adjustment (80%) of registration fees for complete withdrawal from the University for second summer session (all second summer session courses removed from the student’s record)
• Last day to remove (drop) a second summer session class from student’s academic record with possible fee adjustment. Note: From July 4 – August 1, students may withdraw from one or more second summer session classes, but the course will remain on student’s academic record with a withdrawn grade and no fee adjustment.
• Last day to opt-out of Digital Course Materials for second summer session (remove digital content fees associated with Inclusive Access).

Some important dates to remember for full summer semester classes.  Class specific deadlines are for classes that meet the full semester (5.12.25 – 8.16.25)

• Friday, July 4, 2025, Independence Day holiday (University offices officially closed; classes not in session).  Note:  Dining halls are closed (sack meal service available).
• Monday, July 14, 2025, is the last day to apply for graduation for summer semester.
• Friday, July 18, 2025, is the last day to withdraw from (drop) an individual class for full summer semester.  Note: Course remains on student’s academic record with a withdrawn grade and no fee adjustment.
• Friday, August 15, 2025, is the last day to withdraw (drop all full summer semester classes) from the University for full summer semester (contact college or regional campus student services office).  Note: Courses remain on student’s academic record with withdrawn grades and no fee adjustment.
• Saturday, August 16, 2025, is the last day of classes and closing date for full summer semester. Note: Final examinations are scheduled for the last meeting time of each individual class.
• Thursday, August 21, 2025, full summer semester grades available.
• Saturday, August 23, 2025, summer probation status available.
