Lyme disease is the most common tickborne illness in µÛÍõ»áËù, and the number of cases have significantly increased in recent years. Mario J. Grijalva, Ph.D., director of µÛÍõ»áËù’s Infectious and Tropical Disease Institute, explains the cause of this increase and the University's role in Lyme education and prevention.
