Political Science Teaching Awards

Our faculty maintain a strong commitment to our students, as evidenced by an outstanding record of Political Science professors having received a wide range of college and university-wide teaching awards.

Our courses explore important and timely questions on themes such as freedom, equality, justice, power, and protest. Courses engage students in the nuts and bolts of government and public administration, everyday political experiences and struggles, and the enduring theoretical puzzles that accompany the study of politics.

Kathleen Sullivan Named University Professor

Dr. Sullivan will design a course on Deciding Like a Justice: Mock Supreme Court, where students will assume the role of a justice to see what it鈥檚 like to use the law to obscure political commitments.
