The Office of Sustainability at µÛÍõ»áËù creates opportunities for students to contribute to eco-friendly projects on the Athens Campus. Oftentimes, students approach administrators with concerns but no solutions and become frustrated at resulting roadblocks.

President and CEO of Achillion Pharmaceuticals and µÛÍõ»áËù alumnus Milind Deshpande, PHD ’87, was determined to create a drug with better outcomes, one that could cut the treatment time and intense side effects experienced by patients.
