µÛÍõ»áËù Learning Community Programs celebrated their instructors, Learning Community Leaders and advocates at the annual Learning Community Programs Awards, held virtually Friday, April 1.
µÛÍõ»áËù started its academic-focused Learning Community program back in 1999 and it has been very successful in helping first-year students become comfortable on campus.
Over the years, Passion Works and OHIO have created a partnership that has allowed for students to intern and volunteer, taking with them new skills and experiences.

President Duane Nellis and First Lady Ruthie Nellis joined µÛÍõ»áËù students, faculty and staff to celebrate the work of Learning Communities, leaders and instructors on Jan. 26.
Learning Community Leaders work with their LC instructor to lead a weekly core course with an LC group, plan outside activities and hold study sessions. The deadline to apply is Feb. 3.
